and i was watching the movie firestarter:rekindled...to say least story was kinda ....soso, lots of eye candy...but i sudennly got hooked near the end a line in movie that sounded way too well thought out...poetry

i of course was right....sorry movie writters of this movie u werent that elequent for me to believe u wrote prose...so after couple hours i tracked down the poem and the writer so here it goes, this is of course not my poetry, just sharing it, in case anyone else wanted to see

so heres 1 poems by A.E. Housman 1 from movie,(in its whole) and 1 i just thought was cool(sad and funny, at least to me, so read carefully)

XXX. Others, I am not the first

OTHERS, I am not the first,
Have willed more mischief than they durst:
If in the breathless night I too
Shiver now, ’tis nothing new.

More than I, if truth were told,
Have stood and sweated hot and cold,
And through their reins in ice and fire
Fear contended with desire.

‘Is my girl happy,
That I thought hard to leave,
And has she tired of weeping
As she lies down at eve?’

Ay, she lies down lightly,
She lies not down to weep:

Be still, my lad, and sleep.

‘Is my friend hearty,
Now I am thin and pine,
And has he found to sleep in
A better bed than mine?’

Yes, lad, I lie easy,

nothing like admiting to the to one of ur friends thats departed that u comfort his his old sweetheart now in bed. sigh
